The Howrah Bowls Club is a member of the Southern Tasmanian Bowls Association (trading as Bowls Tasmania South) and has both ladies and mens teams competing during the Pennant season.

The Pennant season is between October and March.

There are twenty-eight clubs registered with Bowls Tasmania South. Clubs are represented from as far as Oatlands to Dover and Nubeena to Ouse. Each Club is represented in one or more of the various divisions.

The ladies practice on a Tuesday with Pennant matches being played on Thursdays.

Mens Divisions 2 Reserve and 3 Reserve practice on Thursdays at the completion of the ladies Pennent matches.

Divisions 4 Reserve, 5 and mixed practice on Friday.

All Pennant results and divisional ladders are posted on Bowls Tasmania South's website.

The Club Selectors may choose to post additional statistics on the Club Notice Board.
